4. SHIPPING POLICY

Thank you for choosing Forged by Grit and Grace. Every piece in our store is made to order — forged when it's chosen, never sitting on a shelf. This page explains how we get your piece to you.
Order processing & production
Because we're a made-to-order brand, every order moves through two phases: production (when your piece is created) and shipping (when it travels to you).
Most orders ship within 7–14 business days from the date your order is placed. Production time begins the next business day after your order is placed. Orders placed on weekends or US holidays begin production the following business day.
Some products may have shorter or longer production times depending on the item type. You'll receive an email with tracking information as soon as your order ships.
Why made-to-order takes longer: Your piece is built specifically for you. We don't pre-make inventory, which means a longer wait — but it also means nothing in our store is mass-produced sitting in a warehouse. Each piece is forged when it's chosen.
Shipping times
After production, orders are shipped via standard carriers (USPS, UPS, or carrier of vendor's choice).
- United States (domestic): 3–7 business days after shipment
- Total estimated delivery time: 10–21 business days from order placement, depending on product type
You'll receive tracking information by email when your order ships.
Shipping costs
We offer free standard shipping on all US orders. No minimum required.
We do not currently offer expedited shipping. If you need something by a specific date, please order with adequate lead time and contact us at shop@vaelorinverse.com if you have questions about meeting a deadline.
International shipping
At this time, we ship within the United States only. We hope to expand internationally as the brand grows.
Shipping delays
While we do everything we can to meet our estimated timelines, occasional delays happen — often outside our control. Common causes include:
- Carrier delays or service disruptions
- Weather events
- Address corrections
- High-volume periods around major holidays (Mother's Day, Father's Day, Veterans Day, December holidays)
- Production partner backlogs
If your order seems delayed beyond our estimate, please contact us at shop@vaelorinverse.com and we'll look into it.
Lost or damaged packages
If your package arrives damaged, please photograph the damage and contact us at shop@vaelorinverse.com within 14 days of delivery. We'll replace damaged items at no cost to you. See our Refund Policy for full details.
If tracking shows your package was delivered but you cannot locate it, please:
- Check with neighbors and household members
- Check porches, garages, side doors, and other delivery locations
- Contact your local post office or carrier
- Wait 48 hours (some packages are scanned as delivered before they actually arrive)
If the package is genuinely lost in transit, contact us and we'll work with the carrier to resolve the issue.
Address accuracy
You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address at checkout. We cannot reroute packages once they've been shipped. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, you'll be responsible for the cost of reshipping.
If you notice an error in your shipping address immediately after placing your order, contact us at shop@vaelorinverse.com as quickly as possible. We may be able to update the address before your order enters production.
Order changes & cancellations
Once production has started, we cannot cancel or modify orders. Because each piece is made to order — many with personalization specific to you — there is no way to recover the materials and labor once production begins.
If you need to cancel or change an order, contact us at shop@vaelorinverse.com as quickly as possible after placing your order. We'll do everything we can to accommodate, but cannot guarantee changes after production begins. Production typically begins within 12 hours of order placement.
Multiple items in one order
If your order contains multiple products from different production partners, items may ship separately and arrive on different days. You'll receive tracking information for each shipment as it leaves.
Order tracking
When your order ships, you'll receive an email with a tracking number. Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking information to update with the carrier after shipment.
If you have not received tracking information within 14 business days of placing your order, please contact us at shop@vaelorinverse.com.
